Are you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or weighed down by the challenges in your relationships or daily life? Katie Mecham is an MFT-Associate, supervised by Deissy Rosenbaum, MFT-S, who works with individuals to help them unravel the patterns that keep them stuck in cycles of stress, frustration, or loneliness.

Katie supports couples in enhancing their communication and rebuilding connection through Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method. For individual clients, Katie combines Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to aid in their journey of healing from anxiety, depression, emotional reactivity, avoidance, and trauma, including post-religious trauma. These therapeutic approaches help clients develop self-compassion, process difficult emotions, and reconnect with their authentic selves, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

When it feels like you're in survival mode, it’s easy to lose sight of the joy and connection you once had. But you don’t have to navigate this alone—there is a way forward, and Katie is here to help. With Katie’s compassionate yet direct approach, you can explore the emotional wounds that may be holding you back, process feelings of grief, loss, or trauma, and reconnect with your authentic self. You can achieve more than just coping—you can thrive. By working with Katie, you will cultivate the clarity, courage, and tools you need to create lasting change.
